I'm having trouble with the controls on my AZERTY keyboard and trying to figure out how the changing of the seasons works.
Edit: I figured it out, but here is a feedback.... I didn't know that I had to get the flute first. Maybe if you first go for the song of storms, give a little hint in the dialogue of the dude?
Oh man, Oracle of Seasons is like my favorite game, ever!
Doesn't seem to be working for me though :\ Was excited to give it a try. I'm on Windows 10, using Avast antivirus (which I don't feel like turning off...)
I try to open the .exe, and nothing happens. Checking the task manager, the program suspends and then disappears... Not sure what's wrong.
Any ideas? (already tried making a blank .txt named State)
Dang, a few people have had this problem with the exe not launching. I haven’t used Avast, but maybe adding game’s exe file to Avast’s exemption list would help? Otherwise I’m not sure.
Turned off Avast and got the game working. Turned it back on, and after trying to read a sign, the ransomware shield was alerted because the .exe is trying to delete a file. It's a .wav file, in this case. Guess it has something to do with how the sound system was programmed!
I got softlocked! Because the "seasons" reset whenever you leave an interior, I entered this house in the winter, without flippers. I exited, and ended up here. Even after dying, or exiting and reentering the game, i respawn here, and can't leave!!
Shoot! Thanks for reporting that bug! For now, if you open the save file (it’s just a text file in the folder where the executable is located) and mess with your world location variable then relaunch the game, it may move you somewhere where you aren’t stuck. I’d recommend changing the X coordinate by +\- 1.
No worries, its simple. Download the zip, open it, drag the folder that is inside the zip to wherever you want it, open folder and run the exe file. The game is built in a way that doesn't require installing. It can likely be run off of a flash drive and makes no changes to your pc. Its best to keep files like that in zip format to avoid download corruption. Today seems a good day to learn how to use zip software. It will come in handy later.

Can confirm, "bug" is still there
This game looks great but anyway you can make it accsable for normal download? the zip stuff confuses me and u have to take risks to make it work
